| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 5, 2008 Not as hoppy as expected, very drinkable session beer. I’ve had both the bottled version and the cask-conditioned and the latter was an absolute treat. The Cascade hops come through beautifully, but do not overpower the slightly caramelly maltiness. Beginning to think this is becoming my old standby beer. pootzboy (1042), Hawgville, Ontario, Canada

Pours and hazed orange amber with a 1 finger sticky cap...laces well....modestly carbonated.
Nose is standard for Pacific NW Pales; Grapefruity, woody, caramel malts.
Nice slick mouth feel, mellow amalgam of the grapefruit-wood-bittering-sweet malts of the Pac NW APA..nicely executed...mellow and non aggressive with full flavor and satisfying character.
A standard for the style

Taste Kocha (English Tea) or fresh white wine with roast barrel nuance finish. also feel good water. No bad stress going through mouth. I think beer was slightly tired but still keep good condition. I wish I drink it there in Oregon. alafito (334), tijuana, Mexico
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 24, 2008 Bready and bisquity with lots of honey sweetness and a citric hop taste in the finish. Fruity aftertaste... lots of flavor for a pale ale. ditmier (1053), Boise, Idaho, USA

This is always my goto when I’m standing in the market and just can’t make up my mind, but always better on draught... mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 21, 2008 Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange-gold body with a large frothy white head and spider-web lacing. Aroma is mostly citrusy with some sweet fruits in the form of pineapple, peach and apricot. There is also some mild toffeeish sweet maltiness lingering in the background.
Flavour leaves a bit to be desired- there is quite a bit of fruitiness. Peaches and pineapple are up front with some biscuit maltiness. Tastes a bit stale on the hop front but it’s otherwise quite drinkable. dmac (1442), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 20, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours an orangey/amber with an average size off whte head. Original aroma is lots of citrus but then settles down to a more malty caramel toffee. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a very light bit of bitterness on the swallow. Hoppy flavor of bitter citrus and biscuit. This is a good session beer but unfortunatley I only have one so it will be a quick session.
