Aroma of carmel and citrusy and floral hops. Flavor is malty and chewy carmel malts, mild hop bitterness with a floral and pithy orange rind like flavor. Nicely balanced and easy to drink but nothing spectacular. sirpsycho (343), Murrysville, Pennsylvania, USA

From the bottle, pours a nice copper/orange shade with a bit of a citrus nose. Great balance of malt and hops, finishing hoppy and clean. Easily found at even some larger grocery chains like Safeway. Will buy again, and again, and again...... illinismitty (1795), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 18, 2007 Updated: Aug 20, 2007Draft at Ray’s Cafe in Seattle. Pours amber orange with an off white head. Nice cascade hop and malty aroma. Nicely balanced between caramel maltiness and moderate juicy hops. Nice clean and bitter finish. I wish I took notes, because I would love to analyze this one a little more. Not aggressive, but in a good way. Sometimes you need a pale ale that is not going to sandblast your palate, and this fits the bill. theisti (1650), Leawood, Kansas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 16, 2007 12 oz Bottle - room service Silver Cloud Hotel in Seattle on 8/13/07. Pour is clear golden orange with a normal white head. Aroma is citrus hops, some malt and a slight metallic odor. Taste is a blend between hop and malt. Again, the metallic appeared, this time as an aftertaste. This one was just so so, I was hoping for a bit more. Best by 10/27/07.
