Draft: Pours an orange copper color with a perfect 1 finger white head. Aroma of carmel and citrusy and floral hops. Flavor is malty and chewy carmel malts, mild hop bitterness with a floral and pithy orange rind like flavor. Nicely balanced and easy to drink but nothing spectacular.

Bottle. Amber color, subtle aroma of hops and malt. Flavor was more of the same, malty, hops, slight citrus notes. Clean finish.

Bottle: Pours a thin amber color with a chill haze. Sparse head. Sweet citrus flavor with adequate malt flavor but a bit thin. Rather ordinary pale ale but quite drinkable.

Had on Tap at Yard House in Desert Ridge Mall in Phoenix. Very refreshing, drinkable. Nice copper colored, little head, and very slight aroma..Not as "pale" as others, but very refreshing nonetheless...would try again

Bottle. It was delicious, subtle citrus undertones. I drank it in Hawaii, so it must not skunk fast

This one is one of my favorite session beers. From the bottle, pours a nice copper/orange shade with a bit of a citrus nose. Great balance of malt and hops, finishing hoppy and clean. Easily found at even some larger grocery chains like Safeway. Will buy again, and again, and again......

Draft at Ray’s Cafe in Seattle. Pours amber orange with an off white head. Nice cascade hop and malty aroma. Nicely balanced between caramel maltiness and moderate juicy hops. Nice clean and bitter finish. I wish I took notes, because I would love to analyze this one a little more. Not aggressive, but in a good way. Sometimes you need a pale ale that is not going to sandblast your palate, and this fits the bill.

12 oz Bottle - room service Silver Cloud Hotel in Seattle on 8/13/07. Pour is clear golden orange with a normal white head. Aroma is citrus hops, some malt and a slight metallic odor. Taste is a blend between hop and malt. Again, the metallic appeared, this time as an aftertaste. This one was just so so, I was hoping for a bit more. Best by 10/27/07.
