| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 28, 2007 Medium head, slightly hoppy aroma. Slight citrusy nose in the flavor, with a weak hops finish. Refreshing and poundable, the palate is not complex at all, and doesnt linger. Nothing extraordinary going on here... a good brew for a hot summers day at the beach. arondee (176), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 11, 2007 The smell is pretty light. I can definitely smell the Orange spice but it’s light, or my nose is a little stuffed. Dark Orange almost light brown in the glass. Small/Medium head that fades fast. Great taste immediatly, not the strongest or most bitter IPA but not the weakest either. Slightly bitter aftertaste that goes away after 5 seconds. Great beer overall ranks somewhere in-between a Sierra Nevada PA and a Redhook in the bitterness/taste category. I thought it was great but a bit lighter than I would have really liked. hellbilly (1515), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 26, 2007 12 Oz Bottle. Moderately spicy orange peel and candied ginger aroma. Quite restrained. Planty. Hazed deep flaming coal orange, with burnished edges and a rim of dirty white. Flavor is a somewhat soapy orange zest and lemon. Mild subterreanean spice covers up a mild-mannered malt bill. An almost artificial citrus presentation in the middle of the palate. Sugar profile restricted to nips of brown sugar and the early stages of Maillaird. Palate fields only a light draw of hop bitterness, seemingly lower than I anticipated. Reads almost like an English stlyle, but otherwise a mediocre pale ale.
