| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 19, 2006 12 oz bottle from Kenb just because he wanted to send me some beer- after AIC screwed me over. Pours a nice slight hazy medium gold and a frothy white head. Aroma is citrusy lemon with some light grapfruit and light malt. Nice sticky hop flavor with some more light toasted malts. Finish is nice and crisp with a dry bitterness in the end. Really nice well made APA. yalnikim (779), Wellington, New Zealand

Almost bright, copper, with a brief and airy white head. Big caramel malt aroma jumps out at first, then becomes very subdued beneath the low-key orange, spruce and mineral yeast notes. Good malt presence up front, quite sweet, with toffee and fruity hops in the middle. Then there’s a big bitterness on exit and a huge lingering grapefruit hop flavour. Huge... becomes a little medicinal unfortunately. Medium weight, light-medium carbonation. Certainly one for the hopheads. Good one, maybe a little tired. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 12, 2006 This was far more hoppy than I expected from an American pale, more like a west coast IPA. Great pine and citrus hops with a long bitter finish. Cloudy unfiltered amber to orange with a small head. Sweet malts, hops, and a long hop finish. Better than I expected. hopscotch (5466), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

Hazy golden ale with orange highlights and a small, fizzy, white head. The aroma is very "West Coast"... floral and fruity with plenty of grapefruit and pine. Sturdy malt and sturdy hops result in a well-balanced flavor. Medium-bodied and silky with lively carbonation. Mid-length, evenly bitter finish. A shout goes out to kenb for providing this bottle! bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark
