elektrogeist (158), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA May 24, 2006 12 oz. bottle from sunflower market. generous american hybrid hop aroma, and plenty of hops in the flavor. nicely balanced light citrus flavor, quite easy and pleasant drinking for me.. but usually i prefer more hops ;) Worth trying more than once. BuckeyeBoy (1639), Boise, Idaho, USA May 10, 2006 12 oz. Bottle pours out a orange-amber color. with a white head. Nothing that great. It is a little to pale ale for me. HumuloneRed (750), Portland, Oregon, USA May 8, 2006 12 oz. Bottle. Nice slightly hazy dark orange color with an off white head and creamy lacing. Orange and apricot nose. Very balanced malt profile with citrus finish. Very well made beer. bhensonb (4182), Woodland, California, USA May 7, 2006 Citrus and apricot aroma.Hazy, orange, gold color (but this is supposed to be bottle conditioned, so haze is good). Fruity flavor with touches of grapefruit and apricot. Maybe a bit of malt. Mouthfeel is full and foamy, but thins a bit. Finish is very light, but the hops are there. elnadeau (786), Laguna Niguel, California, USA May 6, 2006 Bottle, pale hazy orange-amber, citrus malty aroma. A nicely balanced APA that finishes clean and refreshing. Nothing *real* outstanding but very pleasant and now on my list to keep in the fridge. fakepurseninja (772), Washington, USA May 4, 2006 Updated: Sep 14, 2009I was really surprised by this pale ale. it has both great flavor and a nice, soft bitterness - some citrus fruit tones. Great beer overall. cromni (13), USA Apr 30, 2006 Updated: Jun 4, 2006Not perfect but very smooth all around (and perfect for a hot day). Can definitely taste the hops, but not as hoppy as some pale ales from the NW. Kinz (2179), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA Apr 28, 2006 Draft at Safeco Field. Medium amber, clear, little head. Aroma was caramel and undefined piney hops. Flavor was mild biscuit, perhaps a bit of spicy hops. Some citrus and earth. Bitter tinge, tocuh thin, and a bit of carbonation bite. Just sort of there. Consumed while watching the White Sox take the Mariners behind the woodshed.
