Made a good appearance, poured a hazy orange hued copper with a foamy white that settled into a thin creamy lacing, minimal amount of sticking, moderate carbonation.
Had a floral and citric hop nose with a little sweet breadiness at the edges.
A lightly crisp, creamy smooth medium body, very good drinkability.
Leafy citric hoppiness at the forefront, a soft hop coarseness on the tongue, followed by a fruit bite then a sugary maltiness and a dry citric and grain bready finish.
A very nice APA from Deschutes, tasty and balanced, highly quaffable.

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | May 7, 2006 Citrus and apricot aroma.Hazy, orange, gold color (but this is supposed to be bottle conditioned, so haze is good). Fruity flavor with touches of grapefruit and apricot. Maybe a bit of malt. Mouthfeel is full and foamy, but thins a bit. Finish is very light, but the hops are there. elnadeau (786), Laguna Niguel, California, USA

A nicely balanced APA that finishes clean and refreshing. Nothing *real* outstanding but very pleasant and now on my list to keep in the fridge. fakepurseninja (776), Washington, USA
