TBone (6682), Pori, Finland Oct 3, 2005 Bottled, alc. 5.0%
Hazy golden color, small white head, some lace. Flowery Cascade hoppy, quite intensive for APA. Medium-bodied. More malty and sweet side in the flavor than hoppy. Some fruityness, finishing watery and sweet. Ungstrup (14764), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 2, 2005 A hazy orange beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is slightly dusty, hoppy combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is dominated by caramel, with very light notes of hops on a thin body. Emil (6075), Copenhagen, Denmark Sep 28, 2005 Bottle. Golden colour with a small off-white head. Light barnyard, hoppy aroma and a light sweet hoppy taste. Medium body and a light dry finish. homebrew (15), Anchorage, Alaska, USA Sep 26, 2005 This beer goes with anything... from mac’n’cheese to sushi. Nothing particularly remarkable, but an excellent staple beer. It has a freshness that survives the bottle. Light bodied with very good hop flavor. maxbeer (118), Italy Sep 15, 2005 (bottle, Great US Beer Tasting in Genoa) Good hop aroma. The flavour is balanced, with adequate bitterness. Body is a bit on the thin side. Quite drinkable. thoreaubred (42), Seattle, Washington, USA Sep 12, 2005 This is a decent, drinkable pale ale, but nothing too special. Kind of on the watery side. Maxamillion (103), Glendora, California, USA Sep 11, 2005 Updated: Dec 26, 2005When im in the northwest this is usually my "can get anywhere" beer. Slight grapefruit/piney aroma. orange and pine also stand out in flavor. The bitterness adds a nice kick also. Delicious beer, great on tap. Pailhead (2572), Allen Park, Michigan, USA Sep 9, 2005 Bottle: Courtesy of Indiana Red via trade. Aroma is mostly orange with light grapefruit hoppiness and a touch of floral aromas as well. Hazy orange with a nice white head that lasts a mnute or so. Flavor has lots of sweet orange up front and light caramel. Light piney and grapefruit hop finish. Well balanced for the most part, but a tad more hops wouldn’t hurt. Very easy drinking. A very nice APA.
