Deschutes Mirror Pond Pale Ale

Amber with a sweet caramel malty aroma backed by hops and floral accents. Flavour has some suprising apple and pear sweetness, and it’s very nicely balanced with the hops (too many pales are just over hopped). Even some grape flavour going on as this ends with a nice sublte bitterness.

Pours a nice light slightly cloudy gold,strong fruity nose of hops. on taste..very good,close to exceptional,perfume,flowers lemon and malt in a well balanced blend. I could drink these all night long.

Poured an earthy/amber color with a decent oak hued head. Citrus and soft evergreen hops are prevelent in the first wif and give way to a solid malt balance aided by toasted malts. The taste starts with the piny hops but it’s the malt flavor that dominates. It is a darkish malt similar to molasses. A little more hop balance in the mouth would have made this a much better pale. Not bad, i’ll drink it again.

Excellent pale ale. Awesome hop flavor and a somewhat fruity(?) aroma. Very nice indeed. Worth giving a try.

Bottled. Golden with faint fruity aroma. A bit thin with late, fruity bitterness.

Good brew overall. Tried on tap an Macayo’s. Thick head, citrus flavor, impressive hop taste. Not great, but a good American Pale Ale. Worth trying.

Pale amber in colour. marginal head with good lace. fruity malt nose. grapefruit hop taste that is not overbearing.

Pale amber colour with no head. Caramel malt aroma, light grapefruity hops. Flavour is well-balanced with a sweet caramel front and PNW hoppy flavour. Not quite bitter enough though.
