Very good tasting.. very refreshing amber ale. Have only had this wonderful ale a couple of times but everytime I go to Oregon I look for it.Seems to go very well with food too. No real negatives... but if I had to find a negative I think I would prefer just a bit more flavor, but don’t get me wrong... this is a a very good tasting, very enjoyable beer!

Thanks to Indiana Red for this lovely brew. Pours golden and keeps a nice head for awhile. Very hoppy initially but more subdued toward the finish, like a Houston Oilers game from days of old. Very good stuff.

amber red with a thin beige head. Nice dry hop nose, I would guess cascades. Candied berries on the front with clean finish. As it warms up a bit a nice bitterness appears. Good balance of malt with hops, but they still let the hops be a bit assertive.

Bottle. Pour amber/orange, with small off-white creamy diminishing head. Body is hazy/cloudy with very fine particles. Aroma light nut, caramel, resin, sugar coated grapefruit, sweet doughnuts (raised), alcohol light, with some brown sugar and maple syrup overtones, melding all with fresh hops. Flavor, cut a grapefruit in half, pour a thin layer of sugar onto the revealed sections, put the grapefruit under the broiler for about 5 minutes and you have what this beer tastes like. The hoppy bitterness (which I enjoy so much) is just too subdued by the sweetness of this beer. My lips tingled like I was drinking overly sweet lemonade. Palate medium, went down oily, creamy, and sticky, carbonation lively and soft at the same time. Not my favorite type of APA, too sweet, watery finish, Nice Aroma though!!

Bottled, Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy amber. Fruity, toffee and citrus notes. Clean but a bit boring. Not much bitterness. A little dry.

Nice light amber gold w/fine white head. Nice Piney hop nose with fresh fruit(peaches) and citrus. Med mouthfeel w/drying slight bitter finish. Creamy fruit, and soft hop flavors throughout. Very refreshing, and awesome beer.

Tiny head, near violet in color. Aroma: loads of fruitiness: strawberry, melons, raspberry, very tasty. Finish is swift, though, and body is weak. I’m becoming bored very quickly. Hops don’t provide much spark on the palate, feels a little flat. Maybe it’s supposed to , but I feel a bit let down. I did like Black Butte Porter, and Obsidian Stout, but this one did little for me.

Somewhat hazy amber/orange. Aroma is hoppy with grapefruit and some citrus. Weak hoppy flavor with grassy notes.
