COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is base camp, where any craft brew exploration begins. A distinct hop nose and hop-forward flavor make Mirror Pond the quintessential Pale Ale. It is aromatically complex, multi-layered, and unmistakably “right.”

Hmm, pale ale? When it’s so dark, syrupy and malty? Not enough hops for the style, I think; but that’s not to say it’s a bad beer. But, maybe a bit more fuggles, a bit less malt to make it a pale ale. Or more malt, more body and call it a bitter. It’s neither here nor there, really.

33 cl bottle @ home. Pours clear amber with a white head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma is very malty with notes of caramel and just a hint of citrus. Flavour is much like the aroma.

Bottle, bought @ Kvickly, Middelfart. Pours clear orange golden with a medium, creamy, off-white head. Fine lacings. Aroma has oranges, apricot, soft malt, light resiny. Medium carbonation, fine dry and fairly creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has quite a bit of malty sweetness, apples. Then turns well bitter, resin, citrus, apricot. Almost a tad astringent like orange juice.

Ottima pale ale americana dal corpo perfetto. Profumata e erbacea con un tocco amaro molto rinfrescante e beverino. ---Rated BY Italianbeer85

Tap at Deschutes, Bond St, Bend 23/05/13. Very lightly hazed golden amber with a thin off white head. Nose is pale malts, grass, hops, caramel. Taste comprises light hops, bitter orange, grass, caramel, light sugar, biscuit, bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. Drinkable APA although I prefer one with a little more hop presence.

Hazy orange pour. Thin to no head with a very light aroma. Mouth is super carbonated. Taste is dank with grass. Light and easy drinking. Overall not a bad session ale.
