This is base camp, where any craft brew exploration begins. A distinct hop nose and hop-forward flavor make Mirror Pond the quintessential Pale Ale. It is aromatically complex, multi-layered, and unmistakably “right.”

On tap at Mutt Lynch's Newport Beach. Solid brown pour, very hazy. Thin white mist of a head on top. Not a ton of aroma. Sour, menthol, citrus scents. Good medium body, not a ton of carbonation. Tingly on the tongue. Pale citrus flavor, hints of eucalyptus as well. Finish is dry and has flavors of roasted nut. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle consumed during Hopkins Raspberry Days. Color is a deeper hue than expected. Almost copper. Aroma leans heavy on hops...maybe slightly floral. Taste is also hop centric. Slight bitterness. Malt makes its presence known towards the middle and end. Not a bad option as pale ales go.

Leicht trübes bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Es riecht dezent hopfig, fruchtig, blumig. Geschmack fruchtig malzig, Obst, sehr angenehmer herb fruchtiger Abgang.

Pour is a deep golden with a moderate tan head that thins quickly but lasts throughout. A light caramel notes on the aroma. Not a bitter beer at all and it has a lIght dry hippiness. The finish is dry and crisp with a little oak ones sat the finish. Very drinkable and very likable. Quite a nice surprise and a great twist on pale ales.

Light golden color with a minimal head. Hoppy lemon aroma with some earthy tones. Taste is an earthy lemon citrus taste. Pretty easy to drink. Not too complex.
