COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is base camp, where any craft brew exploration begins. A distinct hop nose and hop-forward flavor make Mirror Pond the quintessential Pale Ale. It is aromatically complex, multi-layered, and unmistakably “right.”

Excellent pale ale. Awesome hop flavor and a somewhat fruity(?) aroma. Very nice indeed. Worth giving a try.

I’ve had these many times on tap up north and always really liked them. Drinking this one out of a bottle. Big nose of hops and citrus, some caramel. Tastes quite balanced.

Light retention and light lacing. Smells of floral, caramel and pine. Tastes of floral, caramel malt and citrus peel. Semi-bitter aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the Wagon Wheel. Slightly dull aroma, lacks "pop". Hazy light yellow pour. Taste is good, juicy and piney at the same time. Low bitterness, balanced for easy drinking. Will get again.

The Mirror Pond pours a yellowish orange bronze with a thick beige head that lasts a good while and leaves plenty of evidence of its existence. The aroma is earthy hops and caramel. The flavor is caramel and floral hops. Overall this is a decent beer.

On draft at Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill. Pours a clear caramel with an off white head. Aroma has notes of citrus, pine needles, and cedar. Taste is balanced. Citrus with a bit of bread, caramel, grass, and pine. Medium body and carbonation. Clean and refreshing in the mouth. Overall alright. Citrus, grass, and pine needles with a bit of bready/caramel.

Draft. Creamy and extremely hoppy, with a great dandelion, citrus, and grassy nose. True to the aromas, the flavor of the beer is unctuous at five percent, which is an accomplishment, and there is a nice, long juicy-bitter finish to round the beer out.

12oz bottle. A real throwback. Pretty much in a different realm than say, Zombie Dust. Shows the influence of British brewing culture on 80s, 90s breweries. Bland earthy hop and malt combination. It is balanced I suppose, but the end product is pretty bland. I’d like to believe this was a better product in the 90s..but who knows. Caramel malts a little heavy. OK, but very old school.
