COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is base camp, where any craft brew exploration begins. A distinct hop nose and hop-forward flavor make Mirror Pond the quintessential Pale Ale. It is aromatically complex, multi-layered, and unmistakably “right.”

Aroma: Hints of cereal malts with heavy floral and resin hop aromas. Appearance: Cloudy orange with a rich, tan head. Taste: Light bitterness balance by a medium sweetness. Palate: Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation, mild finish. Overall: A nice, quaffable beer. Very well balanced. Went great with my blackened steak.

At a bar in Junaeu. The aroma is caramel, bread, light hops. The appearance is clear amber, white head. The flavor is aramel, bread, floral hops, grapefruit. The finish is grapefruit bitter, flowers. Medium in body. Competently made pale ale.

A great beer! You can NEVER go wrong with Deschutes! Comes on soft and flavorful and ends the same way. What more could you ask for?

Bottle consumed during Hopkins Raspberry Days. Color is a deeper hue than expected. Almost copper. Aroma leans heavy on hops...maybe slightly floral. Taste is also hop centric. Slight bitterness. Malt makes its presence known towards the middle and end. Not a bad option as pale ales go.
