| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 1, 2004 I think this is a bit over rated at 85 %ile. I drank it after some good microbeers at Nimbus brewery in Tucson, and was a bit let down. Nonetheless, still a quality brew worth trying. Not your typical pale ale, and would be enjoyed more maybe outside on a cold night, rather than 85 degrees here in AZ. DrunkAsASkunk (847), Lynnwood, Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 3, 2005 This beer was had on draught at Billy McHales in Lynnwood. It pours a golden amberish color with a small white head with very good lacing. The aroma is piney with floral citrus hints and a small hint of malty fruits. The flavor is medium bodied, generally hoppy and relatively light on the carbonation. Easy drinking sessionable beer, highly palate. Oranges, tangerines, citrus, florals and some pine with a fairly wet finish for an APA. For as simple as this is, its well put together. notalush (2699), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 27, 2009 Hazy copper pour, with a soapy, sudsy lace - quite a tasty and assertive APA - fairly crisp, dry and bitter up front - this is followed by a malt character more in line with british pales than american ones - dry, biscuity malts, slight earthiness, a hint of diacetyl/buttery flavor - actually, aside from the fresher hop character, I would classify this as a british pale - not a bad one, though. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 21, 2008 Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange-gold body with a large frothy white head and spider-web lacing. Aroma is mostly citrusy with some sweet fruits in the form of pineapple, peach and apricot. There is also some mild toffeeish sweet maltiness lingering in the background.
Flavour leaves a bit to be desired- there is quite a bit of fruitiness. Peaches and pineapple are up front with some biscuit maltiness. Tastes a bit stale on the hop front but it’s otherwise quite drinkable. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 14, 2005 Clear peach color with nice off tan head when poured into a tulip. Hardly any aromas. Taste is mellow citrus, apricot with a nice malty back. Slightly sweet but somehow also crisp. Nice and hoppy without being over the top. Really well balanced.
