COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is base camp, where any craft brew exploration begins. A distinct hop nose and hop-forward flavor make Mirror Pond the quintessential Pale Ale. It is aromatically complex, multi-layered, and unmistakably “right.”

Bottle. Copper red, clear. Some autumny leafyness here, somewhat deep caramels, like light raisins. Med bodied, quite smooth nice soft mouthfeel. Soft caramels, some citrus, grassy pines in the finish. Sort of ok reddish ale. Flavourful, soft.

Pours clear pale amber with two fingers of rocky ivory head, excellent retention, good lacing. (4/5) Nose is muted, citrus and pine, caramel malt. (7/10) Taste is mild sweet, moderate bitter. (7/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, lingering bitter finish. (3/5) Quite nice. The aroma, though somewhat less muted than other APA’s, is pleasantly hop forward, but nicely balanced by caramel malt. The taste is again very well-behaved, balanced more towards hop bitterness, but with sufficient malt sweetness to support it. The finish is the only relative weak point in this brew, with just a little bit of an unbalanced astringency in the aftertaste. Other than that, a very mild and drinkable APA. I guess the solution is to not stop drinking them? (14/20)

Pours dark golden clear color with a decent head. Smells of caramel, malts, and hops. A slight hint of oak as well (at least to me). Tastes fairly much the same as the smell. Still feeling a taste of oak in it. Has a slightly bitter and dry finish. Had from a bottle.

pours a semi murky rich copper gold with a medium bubbly white head. Aroma is fruit and slight skunk. The taste is very unique. Good. A hint of strawberry. Hop presence is evident but not overly bitter or overpowering. Good beer.

Pours a deep, slightly hazy orange with a moderate, just-off-white head. Aroma is fairly light; pine and citrus hops balanced by caramel and toasty malt. Flavor is likewise light and balanced between caramel maltiness and a clean cascade bitterness. Medium body. Finishes dry with a little lingering bitterness. Overall, an easy drinking pale ale that’s hop-forward, but less than many other examples of the style.

On tap at dominion beer and wine it is a clear golden Color with a slight head. The aroma is citrusy and the taste is thin and slightly biter

The title of this APA rings true, watery. Way too easy drinking. Tasteful, quickly fading, just keep drinking it. Was part of sampler pack.
