Acknud (610), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA Jun 18, 2008 Must have been a bad bottle (I hope). I couldn’t drink it. Very metallic.
kmweaver (2125), Takoma Park, Maryland, USA Oct 8, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a clear, medium honey-orange color; bright white head with good retention and fine-bubbled lacing. Resiny, fresh earthy and floral hops in the aroma; some tree fruits and sweet malts. Medium mouthfeel: lots of sweet earthy and floral hops upfront; clean and resiny hop character; some earthy, basic candy sugar maltiness underneath; very drinkable, nicely composed APA. Medium finish: toasty malts, earthiness, and lingering dry bitterness; toasty and crisp. anders37 (2752), Malmö, Sweden Oct 6, 2008 Draught @ Horse Brass Pub, Portland. Pours a slightly hazy dark ambe color with a small off-white head. Has a malty hoppy citrus aroma. Sweetish malty hoppy citrus flavor. Has a sweetish malty hoppy bitter citrus finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste. durhambeer (535), Durham, USA Oct 6, 2008 Bottle from WBF in Durham. Amber pour, off white head. This was surprisingly good... and very hoppy for a pale ale thanks to the abundance of Cascade hops. Skunky, resiny, citrusy, tasty hops. A bit thin. Good stuff. ucusty (1214), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Oct 5, 2008 Hazy amber pour, fluffy off white head. Citrus and grains on the nose. Thin bodied and very sessional. Citrus flavor. Long bitter finish. stchloe (197), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 26, 2008 Nothing special. A session amber, perhaps overpriced and overhyped. Thin an unobstrusive character.
