GAManiac (200), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Apr 29, 2008 Pours bright hazy amber with a very thin bubbly head that dissipated almost immediately leaving absolutely no head or lacing. Smell of light, sweet malts with some citrus and floral hops. Tastes of subtle citrus hops, orange and some pine resin, with a sweet caramel malt flavor. Fairly crisp, sweet finish with little bitterness present at all. Mouthfeel is fairly light but smooth. This one certainly isn’t the most complex or daring APA, but I have to admit that I wouldn’t mind throwing a few of these back on this warm spring night. Very sessionable.
tuohyam (14), Enumclaw, Washington, USA Jul 13, 2008 Decent for a pale ale. Doesn’t blow you away. Mirror Pond is very average for a microbrew pale ale. Swalden_28 (508), McKinney, Texas, USA Jul 10, 2008 Bottle from Kegs & Barrells in McKinney, TX.
Pours a nice clear amber wit nice off-white head. Aroma has a pleasing hoppy floral with nice malt smell. Flavor has a semi sharp tang upfront blending into a nice balanced bitter sweet flavor.
Mouthfeel is medium body and medium carbonation....Overall a very nice beer... Hank1980 (324), Athens, Georgia, USA Jul 6, 2008 Poured clear light brown with white head. Aroma of mild hops & citrus. Flavor of citrus hops, caramel malt, and light spice malts. Body is medium with light carbonation. Finish is a little bitter, though not overly so. Hophead22 (78), Redlands, California, USA Jul 4, 2008 bottle. Just a darn good pale ale. Fresh hop aroma, nice orangeish hue. Not too bitter, very nice. carruthm (306), USA Jul 2, 2008 I always appreciate a pale ale that has some aroma and flavor to it despite the appearance. Mirror Pond has a good hop character and citrusy elements.
