Ottima pale ale americana dal corpo perfetto. Profumata e erbacea con un tocco amaro molto rinfrescante e beverino.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
355 ml bottle bought at YATA in MOKO, Mong Kok.
Clear amber colour with faint residual yeast sediments; One finger head with crumpety white foam which lasts for 90 seconds; Excellent sticky lacing with active slight carbonation; Slightly fragrant aroma of Ale malt, with strong caramel, light grapefruits, floral, light honey, molasses, fair resins, bread, light lemon and light grass; Medium sweet light taste of Ale malt, with grains, light grapefruits, very light caramel, floral, strong molasses, light bread, lemon, moderate bitter hops and light grass; Mid to light body. Thin and slightly slick palate; Mouth Feel is light Ale maltyness in a fairly watery background. Pretty thin but with grainy Amber malty taste with light caramel. Light grapefruits and floral. Strong sweetness and rather low hops. Fair lemon to round. So so… Hoppiness is light grapefruits, floral, light honey, resins, light lemon and grass in nose and taste. Bitterness is close to moderate for an abrupt, medium astringent sweet bitter finish; Slightly dry after taste. Sweet and fairly bitter to mouth.
Comments: I would have like a sweet APA for a change, but this one’s hoppiness is monotone as well as low-fi, which can’t balance the malt’s strong grainy sweetness. Topped with a fairly runny body and palate, it’s more like a sweet Amber Ale. APA? No.

12-ounce bottles poured into a pilsner glass. Flavor hits and then immediately disappears, color is also a little dark for a pale ale. Overall, not bad.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
A 12 fl oz bottle with a best by date of 12th May 2016. Poured into a Moonzen teku glass. It poured a clear copper colour with a two finger off white head that dissipated quickly but left nice sticky lacing. Aromas of sweet caramel and bready malts with some pineapple, apple, grapefruit and pine. Tastes of mainly pine with light biscuit malt and light caramel. Citrus is there but fairly restrained. Finish is lightly bitter and spicy. Medium bodied with mid to high prickly carbonation. Overall, this was just ok for me. Everything was just quite light and the flavours felt lacking.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Caramel aromas as most notable with a mild floral hint. It pours clear with a caramel brown hue and white foam that has decent retention and good lace. The taste is a balanced medium / medium light bittersweet. The texture is oily with fizzy carbonation and a medium body. Dry caramel and wood flavors are prominent on the palate with a complimentary citrus touch. The finish is floral with light citrus and leaves an aftertaste of dry caramel, wood notes, citrus rind, and malt.
