On tap at their Pub in Portland in 2009. Aroma: Pleasant citrus, malt. Flavor: Starts with pepper, dried orange and finishes with light bitterness and yeast Overall: OK.

On tap at the brewpub in portland back in the fall of ’08 -- from a fairly sparse old tasting note: hazy yellow pour. sweet malt and pepper aroma. corn, bread and grainy in taste. I found it "interesting"... apparently.

A golden beer with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, superb flower honey, ground pepper, light talcum. In mouth, a nice smooth chalkey malt with powdery qualities, light pepper, not bad. On tap at Deschutes on NW11th, Sept. 5 2010.

draft. lightly hazed yellow-tinted amber. medium crispness, mild to medium corn notes, medium sharpness; some sort of mild white peppercorn note shows up, but honestly the chile character is lost on me. crisp body, medium-dry finish, well attenuated, light toasted biscuit-like malt and wheat notes. medium-low bitterness for the style.
