COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Here in the Pacific NW, we tend to go for more hops in our beer than other folks. They grow right in our backyard (Yakima and Willamette valleys) so we figured that it’s about time we brewed a brown ale that reflected our preferences…We think we’ve hit on a new beer style.

Moderate toast, chocolate and some subtle smoke. Quite hoppy with biting pine and resin evident throughout. Clean and flavorful if a tad thin. Quality brown ale, but still, a brown ale.

On tap at Portland location. Color was a bit lighter than expected. Aroma had a lot of citrus and floral notes; smoe brown malt too. Flavor was nice and hoppy for the style; brownish IPA in style. Really good taste overall. Very nice beer.
