On Tap at the BP Light amber with a small off-white head. Lots of citrusy hop aroma and a pleasant citrus hoppy flavor. Very bright crisp and flavorful. I was rather dubious about this barley free beer but it was quite good.

On draft at the Bend Brewpub. I am rating the "Deschutes Gluten Free NWPA #23" listed as "A hop-forward Northwest Pale Ale made of 100% gluten free ingredients: Brown Rice, Sorghum, and Dark Candy Sugar. Hopped with Nugget, Centennial, Cascade, and Citra hops for a NW gluten-free experience. Batch #23" at 6.2% with 65 IBUs. I wasn’t expecting much and ordered this for a friend. It was actually rather decent -- the rice and malt could be identified, but it was quite drinkable, with decent hop bitterness, so much so that i ordered one for myself. Something different, certainly. Thanks Deschutes.
