On draft at the brewpub in Bend, Oregon, this garnet colored brew came with a light pink head and light lacing. Nose is what the name implies which is plums, but there is also roasted malts. Mouthfeel is slick and smooth. Flavor is dominated by the roasted malts but there is lots of tartness from the fruit and the finish is long and sour; Could not detect the oak. Very interesting and enjoyable beer that is a great combination of sweet stout and fruit.
