On Tap at the brewpub. A hazy light amber with a very thin white head and thin spotty lacing. Aroma was sweet and fruity with light soft grains. Fairly well hopped with a slight unfiltered or chalky feel.

(Draft: Deschutes Brewery in Bend, OR) Sweet, fruity, and very gently hoppy nose accentuates a pleasant orange citrus aroma. Quite a nice start for this seasonal English bitter. Very English in nature, it’s delicately fruity, and the lightly sweet, pale malt flavor is mild enough to allow the moderately bitter, but yet subtle English hops to showcase their potential. Fairly light bodied, but the beer is very clean throughout, with a gentle crisp finish. Hazy, medium golden color. Off-white head settles to an island, leaving behind a fairly dense curtain of lace. A nice, well-crafted beer that’s easy to drink.

On Tap at Deschutes Brewery & Public House: WOW! Powerful first sip! It is almost clear gold in color with a small amount of white lacing trickling down the side. Wheats are the dominant aftertaste. Rich and sweet.
