COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This West Coast IPA is like that sweet little Nordic trail off the main trail of Meissner - it takes the high road. Using Pilsner base malt, it is light on malt but not hops. With a hop bill consisting of Amarillo, Centennial, Northern Brewer, and experimental hop X, we packed in the pine along with the citrus notes we love.

12 oz. bottle. It pours a light golden color with a white head. The aroma is nice and bready with some onion stank, apricots and light florals. The flavor is the same. Nice rich bready malt eith some light fruit and florals. Solid earthy bitternss. Dry and crisp with good hop character. I liked this one.

Bottle. Amber with minimal white head. Piney and hoppy aroma. Bitter and piney, grapefruit. If you want bitter, you’ll like this.

(Bottle) Pretty bitter. I don’t like the main hop(s) they use- that very tropical taste that seems to be popular these days. Not what I like in an IPA.

IBU 70. The best of the deschutes beers. Great pine hints but solid on hops ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle from Craftshack. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color with a finger of foamy white head. Aroma of lemon drop candies, hints of pine, and sweet malt. Not a whole lot to the aroma. Taste of bad lemons, citrus zest, pine sap, grass, and sweet grain. Not a great balance between the sweetness and the bitterness.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is plenty hoppy. Pine, citrus it’s all there. Flavor is again all hop forward. Mildly bitter with a low malt presence. Yea it’s a west coast IPA and it’s pretty solid.

Cool story. I really need an orchard of pinedrop trees. Still just another IPA.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and pine aroma. Pine and grapefruit flavor with earth. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Pine and grapefruit lingers with earth.

Beautiful looking beer, aroma and flavor surprisingly uneventful. Good mouth feel and bitterness as to be expected.
