This West Coast IPA is like that sweet little Nordic trail off the main trail of Meissner - it takes the high road. Using Pilsner base malt, it is light on malt but not hops. With a hop bill consisting of Amarillo, Centennial, Northern Brewer, and experimental hop X, we packed in the pine along with the citrus notes we love.

Pours slightly hazy, light, golden orange; frothy white head. Light floral, resin aroma. Flavor is piney resin dominant, light floral, even lighter citrus. Starts mellow and slightly fruity, then the dryness and hop bitter blooms and finishes. Overall, really presents the piney resin possibilities of hops, not just an experiment, its refreshing and drinkable.

Bronzed body with ok head. Nice breaths of pine-scented forest waft off the glass accompanied by some citrusy juicyness. The body strikes a nice floral hoppyness that straddles APA/IPA territory. Slightly light-bodied for an IPA, but with a refreshing floral, piny hop-forward flavor and mid-range bitterness. Solid stuff.

Cloudy orange pour with a thin head. Light mouth. Taste has lot of grain notes. Aroma has some hints of lemon. Very active carbonation. Hops are very lemony. A little pine too.

From bottle in Belgian ale glass. A cloudy golden brew with citrus/piney nose. Pleasant bitterness on palate. Light and crisp for such a hoppy beer.

Straight from the bottle the aromas are pine, mild citrus, hops, and bread. Flavor is bold and bitter that lingers on the tongue. Tasty.

Bottle. Aroma is huge perfumy pine with some odd floral and citrus hops too. Tastes is like acetone and pine perfume. Not good. Couldn’t finish the bottle.

Draft/Fest. A- Pine, floral, resin, citrus, bitter. A- Golden color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Pine, bitter, floral. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Tons and tons of hops. I think I mistook Pinedrops for lemondrops and expected a juicy citrusy IPA....nope.

Golden. Large white head. Bitter, forward nose. Heavy blanket white lace. A strong bitter IPA with a soft finish, but very potent. X hops!
