3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy golden color. Big piny vegetal hop aroma. A little malt in the flavor but the hops are big and bitter. Nice beer but a little on the bitter piny side for me.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Deep gold with a foamy white head. Plenty of NW hops, not "Industrial strength" but still quite a bite. Interesting hop flavor, has the moderate pine/citrus profile but also a resinous spicy flavor. Slick feel and a bit thin bodied but still refreshing.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 11/25/2015. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy deep golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, lime, melon, green pepper, citrus rind, pine, light honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of bright citrus/piney/earthy hops and light-moderate pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, lime, melon, green pepper, citrus rind, pine, light honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange peel, lime, melon, green pepper, citrus rind, pine, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/piney/earthy hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. High amount of dryness after the finish from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky/resinous mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/piney/earthy hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

Cask at GBBF ’15, day 1, 11/08/15.
Clear golden blonde with a decent off white head that retains well.
Nose is light citric, dogs towel, straw, toasted malt ... not great.
Taste improves comprising bitter orange, melon, tangerine, toasted bread, light floral notes, citric sherbets.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Ok IPA but far from a great.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pint at Sidedoor. Slightly hazy orange-tan body. Steady frothy white head. Classic piny, earthy feel. A little pinesol. Kind of comes off macro to me, factory. Not a bad Pale Ale, but I wouldn’t want a sixpack. Boring, OK. Macro golden malt finish, some Chinook like tones.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale orange with a crusty head. It’s intense all the way through. Resinous hop all over the nose and astringent on the tongue. It has a burst of peachy sweetness mixed in which occasionally bobs up for a brief respite from the waves of herbal bitterness, but is soon consumed once more by the piney torrents. I’d get a 6-pack some time.

Pours a clear gold with a medium white head...nice lacing. Aroma is like a fresh pine tree. Flavor is very fresh and piney...resinous...firm bitterness...feels like a good winter IPA. Mouthfeel is medium and silky with a dry and resinous pine finish.

Cloudy sunshine gold, no real head. Woody nose. Bitter. Middle is bark, light kilned malt, pine cones. Finish is bitter and decently long.
