Cloudy golden color. Big piny vegetal hop aroma. A little malt in the flavor but the hops are big and bitter. Nice beer but a little on the bitter piny side for me.

Pours a mostly clear yellowish color with a thick white head that had good retention and left plenty of lacing around the glass. The aroma was mostly fruity and not much noticeable pine notes that the name would suggest. However, in the taste you do pick up the pine resin and hoppy bitterness. There is also some fruity flavors as well and a little bit of sweet Malts. The mouthfeel is medium and watery. Overall, a great beer worth a try.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A different IPA for sure, but quite good. Clear golden-yellow color with a medium white head. If you have one, taste is citrusy, a little bit of pine, nice malt background, some juicy tropical fruit. If you have more than one, the pine takes over quite a lot. Better than a 92, current rating, in my book, but not an elite IPA.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Poured into a shaker glass. Golden color with a white head. Nice lacing on this one. Aroma is really piney, almost sap like, with some notes of citrus and alcohol as well. Flavor is bready malt with some light caramel notes and lots of resionous and piney hops. Great layers of flavor, slightly sticky mouthfeel, a nice crispness, and a great finish. This is really easy to drink and has awesome flavor. One of the best IPA’s I’ve had in awhile.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I chanced getting a sixtel keg of this. Poured into a Leffe stem glass, pours hazy gold with head and lace. Big aroma of pine, lemon zest, light honey and grains. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of rich grains, straw hops, pine sap, grapefruit rind. Overall rich, bold, flavorful and a little rough with bitterness.

Draft in a flight at Ei8ht Ball. Pours a hazy pale gold with a white head that settles into a ring and film while leaving a sheet of lace in the glass. Notes of lemon, pine, pale and sweet malts, pepper, soap, sweat. Light-bodied, with moderate carboantion. Starts clean and refreshing, ends bitter. Good IPA to sip.

12 ounce bottle from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Very hazy, even dingy golden. A big white head that falls leaving heavy lacing. Ron describes me as "pine challenged" which means I cannot taste or smell pine well at all. This must be chock full of it. Even I get some in here!! I also taste a lot of fruit, earth, and rich sweet malts. This is actually very malt heavy. Towards the finish some grapefruit and the accompanying bitterness is noted. The finish brings melons and plenty of sweetness. This is good stuff with minimal pine being noted. Perhaps it is better that way but I sure wish pine was something I could taste.
