Appearance has a golden yellow supporting a nice healthy head leaving fair lace. Smell of the German leafy hops and soft malt. Taste is very yeasty American leaving it stronger in hops than malt. Mouthfeel is light with good carbonation.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a billowy head of pure white foam. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading to leave a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma of the beer is heaviest of a grainy and slightly bready smell along with a little bit of a light caramel smell. Along with these aromas comes some very light fruit smells of an apple and pear nature along with some bits of hop of a grassy and earthy smell. Taste – The taste begins with a rather crisp but somewhat sweeter taste with a good showing of a grainy and bready taste mixed with some more fruity notes of apple and peach. As the taste advances the sweetness seems to shift with more peach and less apple, with some other flavors of caramel coming to the tongue. The sweeter flavors never really gain too much strength however, and remain in the backdrop of the more grainy and bready flavors of the brew. With a little bit of earthy and grassy hop that develop throughout the taste, one is left with a rather crisp and refreshingly easy drinking taste to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is rather thin with a carbonation level that is on the slightly higher side. For the style and the tastes, the feel is great as it makes for a very easy drinking and refreshing brew overall. Overall – A quite refreshing and very easy drinking pilsner, that I think anyone who picked this up would like. This is a brew for all audiences, and it makes for a very easy drinking session style ale.
