Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a billowy head of pure white foam. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading to leave a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma of the beer is heaviest of a grainy and slightly bready smell along with a little bit of a light caramel smell. Along with these aromas comes some very light fruit smells of an apple and pear nature along with some bits of hop of a grassy and earthy smell. Taste – The taste begins with a rather crisp but somewhat sweeter taste with a good showing of a grainy and bready taste mixed with some more fruity notes of apple and peach. As the taste advances the sweetness seems to shift with more peach and less apple, with some other flavors of caramel coming to the tongue. The sweeter flavors never really gain too much strength however, and remain in the backdrop of the more grainy and bready flavors of the brew. With a little bit of earthy and grassy hop that develop throughout the taste, one is left with a rather crisp and refreshingly easy drinking taste to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is rather thin with a carbonation level that is on the slightly higher side. For the style and the tastes, the feel is great as it makes for a very easy drinking and refreshing brew overall. Overall – A quite refreshing and very easy drinking pilsner, that I think anyone who picked this up would like. This is a brew for all audiences, and it makes for a very easy drinking session style ale.

651 ml. bottle. BBD 01/20/15. Pours a medium thick, gradually collapsing, white head, with some lacing, over a clear, yellow (SRM 3), effervescent body.....nose is Pils malts, with light DMS, floral, light citrus, light herbal hops....taste is slightly sweet to start, light floral notes, slight lemon, becoming dry, with lingering hop bitterness.....mouth feel, light of medium body, moderate acid, no alcohol, high carbonation. This is a very nice rendition of the style. Appearance, aroma, flavor and mouth feel are quite on, and the hops are appropriately dominant. This is not a favorite style of mine, but it is a quite well made beer. BJCP 9/3/16/4/7

Pours two and half fingers of head on a light straw colored body. The aroma is mild lemon and grain. The taste has a good hop bitterness bite at the beginning. It tapers out to a mildly sweet finish. Crisp and clean texture. Wonderful.

Bomber into a glass. Deep but clean golden hay pour. Thick, lasting white head. Aroma is cereal, lightly sopay, light floral notes and a hint of pepper. Taste is crisp, pleasantly bitter, light grassy notes with spice and light floral notes. Lingering bitterness. Crisp, easy drinking...great American expression of the style.
