Bottle from PAt, this must have been pretty fresh. Pours reddish amber with small off white head, not lasting. Aromas and flavor of sweet malts, caramel, bitter pine, and citrus. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. I like my pales less malty and dry but this was solid as far as most pale ales are concerned.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Damico (1913) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 24, 2013
Pours mostly clear amber golden with a decent creamy sandy colored head. The aroma is quite pleasant, soft and sweet citrus and juicy floral hops, but definitely soft. The flavor is very similar, starting and continuing with the hop presence balanced just right for the style with the flavor of light orange candy. The body is just right too, perfect carbonation, not too light and definitely juicy.

12 oz bottle from Wilburs. Amber/copper color, slightly hazy with a small but lasting white head. Sweet, dank, citrus fruity hop aroma. They’re more mild in flavor, balanced by caramel toasty malts. Medium body, soft creamy feel, sweet semi-dry finish. Not bad for a pale ale.

Mildly floral, quite hoppy but not as much as Jubelale. Very tasty and refreshing, worth a try.

A pretty good pale ale. Pours a beautiful bright orange-red. Smells fruity and hoppy. Taste is fruity up front with a hoppy finish. Had at tap at the Bay Area Craft Beer Festival.

Bottle from Whole Foods Devon. Best By Date: July 2013. Pours clear copper with a small white head, plenty of carbonation. the aroma has a nice balance of piney hops and mixed citrus.. grapefruit, orange, and a little pear. The taste has an assertive hop presence with some light citrus and a little trail of a caramel sweetness. Well balanced. Very nice.

Really good. It is has a hoppy honey/clover taste with a distinctive dry finish. The terms ’drinkable’ and ’sessionable’ are overused these days, often as a consolation prize to mediocre beers. Those terms should be reserved for beers like red chair, as the desire to pound one after the other comes because of its taste, not because it is light or unoffensive etc...
