The citrus punch of a big IPA, minus the one-dimensional hop sledgehammer. Seven select European and domestic malts round out the edges for a complex, copper-colored brew. Like its namesake ski lift, itís an insiderís ride to fresh thrills.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours hazy golden amber. Aroma of floral hops and caramel malts, nicely balanced, but the hops come out on top. Flavour matches this very well, with the floral notes providing the depth of the body. Quite decent.

Poured from a 12oz. bottle. Colour is clear amber, slightly red. Head is thin white, and fades about 3/4 of the way through. Aroma is weak, but mildly hoppy. Flavour is hoppy, but mind and smooth, sort of malty and sweet. Finished with a caebonated and dry feel. overall not a bad beer, and my light beer friend likes it too.

12 oz bottle. Pours a great looking clear, deep amber with beige head. Aroma of clean, sharp pine, some citrus, earthy, ripe grapefruit. Flavor is malty and very much the same as aroma, seems a bit dry with a dirty bitter finish. Mouth feel is medium body with high carbonation. Not bad!

This is an excellent pale ale. Almost perfect. Very happy I picked up the banana in this; I feel it comes through strongly. I might be getting a little of the bubble gum, too. Itís also clear on the citrus and tree. Mouthfeel is a little rough.

Bottle from Kegs and Barrels. This beer pours a rich copper with a thin white head. The aromas are citrus, bread, nuts. The mouthfeel is slightly stick and dry with a good bitterness and medium body. This was a great pale ale! Cheers!

Tap. Deep copper in color, maybe amber. Light citrus aroma, with some fruit (peach maybe), and sweet malt in the back. Fairly sweet flavor with caramel, some floral and soapy notes, and a mildly bitter finish. Coats the mouth giving this a long finish. A touch too sweet and sticky mouthfeel are the only downsides to a solid beer.

Clear copper colored. Aroma of peach, lime, dry spicy hops, and something pungent, slightly sour, yeasty, maybe cheese. Very intense inviting aroma. Taste is immediately anchored by toasty malts. Also grape, grapefruit, pine. Grapefruit finish with some lingering biscuit. Long long finish. Lively carbonation. Medium frothy and tingly body. Alcohol warming. Complex dry fruits continue in the finish. Toasted, red amberesque malts linger longer.

Finally, a 12 oz. bottle of this stuff. Although, I am sad to see that they donít have it in 22 oz. bottles anymore; at least, I donít think they do. This is quite the pungent beer, considering that I can smell it from over a foot away. Thin and wispy head sit on-top of this wonderful brew. It has a transparent copper color. This beer has an insane resinous pine hop aroma. Itís quite pungent. Very little, if any, malt aroma makes it through. This beer has a nice and crisp texture. It has a lovely piny hop flavor. The hop flavor is not caustic, and it sits well on the taste buds and tongue. The texture is also very resinous. A straight-forward A.P.A. This is so good fresh that itís insane. Very sessionable and delicious.

bottle. Pours reddish body with nice frothy off white head. Aroma of citrus hops, copper, some hay malt. Flavor is a big, almost juicy citrus blast tempered by a malt backbone, caramel, hay. Pretty balanced although it is hop focused. A nice APA, very enjoyable.
