I donít know all the technicalities are with beer and what makes them what they are called, but I call this beer delicious. This beer was definitely made with love and didnít have any annoying hiding over-tones of the mostly the same IPAís which dominate the market. If you are looking to feel a burn in your throat when you drink, this beer is too smooth for you.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice caramel anger pour. Aroma of caramel, toffee, malt and light citrus. Taste is similar with hops in middle and end to balance. One of if not the best apaís I have tried. Will have again

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at Beer Revolution (had this at Coop, but it sold out before the manager could purchase it - thought this should be noted).
Dark amber pour with a bubbly, lasting white foam. Aroma is sweet citrus, grapefruit, lemon, and orange. Taste is a blast of citrusy sweetness, tempered by an explosion of hoppy bitterness, drying out the finish, but leaving the palate demanding another sip. Balanced, and extremely drinkable, my favourite APA to date, just outstanding.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz bottle. Pours a clear medium orange amber color with a dense white two inch head that is well retained. Has medium lacing. Aroma of sweet malt, bread, with hints of orange peel and hoppy resin. The carbonation is light and nicely complements the slightly oily slick feel on the tongue. The taste begins with a good balance of sweet malt with honey overtones and bitter citrusy hops with some very slight pine flavors. The finish is a mildly sweet orange sweetness with lingering hop bitterness. Very very drinkable and extremely well balanced. One of the best pale ale's I have had and one that does not approach the style by simply being a less hopped IPA. A great beerI that I will definitely order again.

4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
Appearance: A 2Ē+ off white head recedes slowly with moderate lacing. Color is a cloudy orange with moderate carbonation present.
Aroma: citrus and pine hops, sweet caramel malts, a berry-candy sweetness, and bread dough.
Mouthfeel: between light and medium bodied with ale fluffiness and evident carbonation. Finish is dry.
Flavor: taste a near perfect combination of sweet caramel malts, bread dough (similar to a fresh yeast roll), the middle and finish are dominated by the pine and citrus hops with a slight alcohol warming in the throat.
Overall: I canít find anything to criticize about this beer. I am amazed that this beer has a 60 IBU rating as the hops are so well balanced with the malt. Outstanding and bordering on world class!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from South Bay Drugs: Poured an amber reddish hue with a frothy layer of head and a trail of sticky lacing. Hopped up aroma that is noticed instantly but then there is another funky scent I canít quite describe. The flavor is also peculiar and has hops and caramelized malts that in the end make it taste like a perfume.

Overall: Soft, pleasant, malty.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
From a bottle this is a somewhat fruity ipa. Sweet aroma but not in a real good way, more like hop perfume. Darker pale ale, just a tad of brown inthe color. Rather sweet, almost cloying at times on the palate. Good hop presence that gets almost close to ipa territory but never goes over the top. Finish is near ipa bitter linger for a while now. Yes, gets even more bitter towards the end of the session. Not impressed.
