3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Systembolaget (28 kr). Aroma with hops, fruits and malts. Not very bitter. Taste of hops, malts, caramel. A bit sweet. As described on the label - good alternative when you want something less bitter/hoppy than an IPA.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
The lack of citrus punch in this big malty (might as well be a hoppy amber...) ale, along with the one-dimensional hop sledgehammer of bitter bitter bitter aspirin really makes this beer shine. Seven select European and domestic malts round out the edges in order to create a dog food flavored, copper-colored brew claiming to be a pale ale. Like its namesake ski lift, it’s an insider’s ride to bitter malt water. Would not recommend to someone that enjoys beer.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
@ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear dark amber with 1/2" ivory head, curtains of lace. Taste is sweet caramel malt that grows in the palate, adding biscuit and bitter toffee that continues smoothly through a lingering finish. Satisfying, easy to drink, well-balanced, a real winner.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a 355ml bottle. One-finger sized, beige head leaving fragile lacing behind. Copper coloured body, slightly cloudy. Aroma is very fresh with apricot, mango, and peach. Balanced taste character of semi-dry tropical fruits and caramel malts followed by a nice bittersweet ending. Soft carbonated. Smooth in the mouth. Fine bodied. Pleasing (kindly shared by djoeye, Tromsø 27.02.2014).

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
355mL bottle. Pours a lightly cloudy amber with an off white head and a very light grassy/grapefruit aroma. A big resinous piney hit as it hits the tongue, after a time on the mouth i get some citrus and sweet toffee malt with a dry bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation.
