5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Nice crystal hop aroma, bright & golden, great malty hoppy balance especially for a low alcohol beer. Light body with a nice biscuit finish. I will drink the heck out of this palatable session ale.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a moderate off-white head. Nose is hoppier than I expected, with just a little bit of citrus grapefruit on top of some banana notes. Taste is extremely light and only a very faint hint of sourness in there. Pretty crisp and drinkable.

Nice quaffer - no high octane hop hit but still great flavour for low abv - the Aussie goldens like Stone and Wood/Nail have such great hoppiness.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Growler, brought to Christmas dinner by my bro-in-law. Medium yellow, slightly hazy, generous head indicating growler freshness. Light biscuity malts and delicate floral hops, very refreshing and balanced. A terrific lower ABV brew.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy deep blond color with compact head. Malt and fruity hops aroma, delicate, nice. Dry mouthfeel, not too weak, with toffee malt flavor, reasonable bitterness, and very nice soft hop resins, also some hop fruitiness.
At this gravity, a real pleasure; well brewed, balanced, fresh.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
From bottle. Fizzy, light golden in color. Aroma is light sweet malt and a hint of citrus hop. Taste is sweet honey, biscuit malt, and a little bit of grassy hop bitterness. Not too exciting, but a nice refreshing golden nonetheless.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Wasn’t super excited about a milder ale from Deschutes, but the Bend has yet to let me down. 8 oz pour at Beer Revolution. Pale golden pour with a white head. Aroma is mild floral, lemon zest, pastry dough. Mild hoppy bitterness on the palate, very light malty softness. Light done right - an impeccable balance for a light fluffy blonde ale.
