Tap at the Portland location - a very subtle brew - like a bitter made with rye malt - very dry and crisp, with moderately spicy rye that is showcased quite well - toasty grains, toasted bread - slightly buttery and spicy in the finish.

Matts_Property (831) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 18, 2011
On tap at Deschutes Brewpub. Pours almost clear amber/brown with a small foamy head. Aroma is floral, herbal, candied fruits, rye, spices, cereal. Flavour is also floral with herbs, rye, caramel, various savoury spices, caramel, cereal, bread and English malts. Medium bodied, not overly thrilling, but pleasant all the same.

mcberko (5919) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 13, 2011
On tap at Deschutes Brewpub, split with Matts_Property, pours a dark golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of light rye, herbal notes, bread and spices. Flavour is quite spicy, with rye, crusty bread, herbal and light floral notes. Light and well-made, but fairly uninteresting.
