Smooth coffee taste, almost a black liquorice taste i thought. Smooth drinking, great for those who enjoy a dark beer.

Draft at Churchill’s. Hazy brown pour, small off-white head. Roasted malt, light chocolate, strange tasting sour fruit, vinegar, and even coffee in there. This is an odd beer, which is not really working for me.

On tap at Churchill’s. Pours with a brown body and absolutely no head. Aroma of coffee, citrus, acid, wood, earth, acetone. Odd combination. Flavors of cola, acetic, acid, coffee, vanilla, florals and roast. Light carbonation. Dry.

Pours a very dark ruby red with a brown tint. Nose is roasty and tart. taste is tart on the front, hint of vinegar, then a fantastic clean complex porter finish. I wish it was more sour and less vinegar, but still a very nice and drinkable beer.

Poured a clear dark brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of coffee, citrus, bitter chocolate, earthiness and light barnyrd. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of bitter chocolate, coffee, earthiness, barnyard funk and a hint of citrus with a crisp dry lingering tart coffee finish.
