COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is a derivative of the famous dissident. A brown ale aged with Marion berries and taken straight from the oak barrels from whence it was soured.

22 oz bomber shared at with buds. Wood & Barrel-Aged Sour Beer entrant for 2010 GABF. Basically the Dissident brewed with Marionberry (no Washington DC jokes here). Nicely carbed, Decent creamy head that disappears quickly. Thin lacing. Bread and carmel nose with some light fruits and woody overtones,. Slightly sour, not as tart as I expected. Dry finish. A nice beer - glad I got to try - thanks Bill for sharing.

On tap at Portland location. Pours flat opaque brown with an off-white head. Aromas of sugar, vinegar, and berries berries berries. Taste has much of the same but keeps shifting.

Similiar to the Dissident but with more of a fruity berry note that did not seem distinctive as marionberry. Tart yeast notes with some light banana and spice.
