2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear, tinged gold, white head. Sweet, chemical hoppy aroma. Tastes kat whizzy, dry, slightly tangy. Medium-light body. Dry, mildly hoppy finish. On tap, Hay Merchant, Houston. Bleh - thrown upon the heap of barely-drinkable kat whiz beers.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
5% bottle from Sugaya. Deep yellow, almost orange pour with a white head that dissipated fast with minimal lacing. A pleasant hop aroma wafts from the glass, citrus, mint, pineapple, fruity. The taste is pretty good, sweet & fruity, some biscuity quality from the malts, a touch of mint & a bready mouthfeel. A pretty decent beer, nothing to write home about but you’ll get no complaints from me. A good beer for chilling out on the porch after a day at work on a mild summer day...

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at Hops Northwest in New Westminster. A medium amber tint with skimpy whitish head. Fruity and malted on the nose. Crisp and refreshing on the palate, with mild hop impression. Malt predominates here, with just enough hop to lend a crisp note. A very decent pale ale.

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 4/20
Pine and citrus aroms. A clear, light amber with a white ring and no lacing. The taste is bitter. It is alsoa surprise. I was expecting a pine/citrus experience, but instead I got malt and bread flavors combined with bitter hops. Malts, bread, and carboard with some grain noted in the finish. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, i appaud the effort to provide a balanced drink, but to me the balance was of. I wouldn’t want to drink more than one of these…and I just did. I’m done! resin,
