COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A lighter, yet full-flavored, aromatic Ale for the long days of summer. Twilight’s solid malt foundation pairs with distinctive Amarillo hops for flavors every bit as intriguing as bigger, heavier ales. A back porch, lingering sunset wonder.

Bottle from Liquor Max. Pours golden with an inch of white foam. a bit of floral hops on the nose. a bit flowery on the tongue. It’s subtle, drinkable but I don’t think I’d want another one.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2012 Sampled at the Artisans Craft Beer Festival 2012. It poured a hazy orange color with a small white head. The aroma was of decent hop with some biscuit malts. The taste was even better cirtus hop followed by some bready malts and a little mango. Very tasty.

(bottle) orange amber with off white head. Aroma floral/citrus hops aroma. Flavor is grapefruit up front, more floral further in with a decent malt backbone.

Bottle@Sandy Lane, CA, 12/08/12. Steady-fizzing orange with a strong, fine-lacing foam. Light herbal, bay, parsley and sherbet lemon hop; biscuity malt, soap, flowers. Curd on crackers. Really good.

Hoppy golden ale built for drinking with purpose. Has an attractive sticky white head, soft floral hop aroma, some bread-and-crackers malt flavor along with citrus hops, and is ultimately pretty dry. A lovely thing.

On tap at PDX Brewery & Public House as "Twilight Summer Ale" -- not sure if this is exactly the same brew as listed above. Very little aroma, some mild seaweed or something. Clear yellow, good lace. Again, the same house yeast (as Mirror Pond) initial flavor / nice sweet mild mid palate / good smooth light bitter finish. Medium body, a bit sticky. Sure, a good summer beer.

Pours a clear golden orange color with a one finger white head that quickly settles into a thin ring. Minimal spotty lacing left behind. Slightly earthy aroma with a balance of floral hops, light fruit and pale malt. Slight spicy and grassy with some resinous pine needle followed by bread, apple and biscuit. On the lighter end of medium bodied with a crisp hop bite up front that lingers over the sweeter notes and pale malt into a slightly dry finish. Spicy hop flavor provides some dry bitterness that’s countered by light fruit, bread and biscuit. Hop presence is stronger than nose suggests but there is some nice sweetness for balance. Hints of grass, straw, apple, pear, bread and biscuit. Well balanced and sessionable.

Pours a somewhat hazy golden color with soapy white head. Aroma is floral with just a bit of pine. Flavor is both hoppy bitter and also sweet. Smooth finish. Nice summer brew.
