COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A lighter, yet full-flavored, aromatic Ale for the long days of summer. Twilight’s solid malt foundation pairs with distinctive Amarillo hops for flavors every bit as intriguing as bigger, heavier ales. A back porch, lingering sunset wonder.

Light fruit aroma with the banana bread type quality I’m so used to with Deschutes. Flavor follows suit with a nice toasty finish. Bitter, but smooth at the same time. High standard light pale ale.

Pours light orange from the bottle, average head. Aroma is light pine, bread. Taste follows through with moderate hops, some malty bread sweetness, and a great chewy mouthfeel. Not a pale ale, really--I think of this as reminiscent of a steam beer, or an unusually hoppy kolsch. Great balance and drinkability. I think better than the average rating here suggests.

Tap. Nice lacing. Clear dark gold. Bit of hop nose. Pretty hoppy for a summer ale, tempered by very bready yeast.

Not too bitter. Nice malt base and some hop aroma, a good balance. Tastes a bit citrusy. Medium body.

Bitter but not overly so. Less harsh than a lot of Pales and very flavorful.

Called Twilight Summer Ale on label. Nothing unique, but decent. Muted aroma and taste.

12 oz. bottle from Whole Foods. Nice hops intensity on a bready malt base. Good flavor. Great balance. Not light or summer-like, nevertheless crisp and refreshing.

Light orange color. Smell is a little musty. Taste is light and clean with some mild citrus hops. Little funky bread in the back. OK but there are many better summer beers.

Draught at the Deschutes Taproom, Portland, OR.
Cloudy orange golden colour with a small off-white head. Sweet fruity and floral hops, mild bitterness and mild sweetness in the aroma. Sweet fruity hops, mild bitterness and some sweet maltiness in the flavour. Easy and fruity.
