A lighter, yet full-flavored, aromatic Ale for the long days of summer. Twilightís solid malt foundation pairs with distinctive Amarillo hops for flavors every bit as intriguing as bigger, heavier ales. A back porch, lingering sunset wonder.

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2006 "A unique blend of four hops"- indeed! I enjoyed this hoppy, amber-colored ale- it reminded me a bit of a Magic Hat beer from back in the day. It had a strong aroma of citrusy-hops- which Iím guessing are from that big valley to the west of Bend.. The flavor was lively: ample hops and a refreshing bitterness. The finish was clean. The graphics arenít bad either.

Bottle pour into an english pint, a beautiful hazy brass color, with an inch of off white head; light lacing. Aroma of hops and mild citrus with some yeast. The flavor is bright hops and sweet grains. Hops way up front with a very dry finish. Very good beer, but maybe a little light on palate and flavor. The hops need more body to suspend the flavor.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that was long lasting and left behind a typically carbonated orange colored body. The aroma was hoppy malty bready and dough. The mouth feel was tingly at the start with a mellow finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. The mild IPA hoppy like flavor contained notes of malt and hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again. Very drinkable.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden orange color with a small white head. Very little aroma. An orangey, citrus taste. A nice, thin palate for a summer beer. Overall a good beer that hits sthe spot on a warm day.

Tasted 22/09/2006. 12oz bottle from BrewNZ. Orange-gold, slight haze, with no head. Caramel and a minerally yeast note dominate a fairly bland nose. A little malt sweetness lies beneath a sharp yeast and nettle-like hop dominated flavour. Light-medium weight, medium carbonation. Rather lifeless. Hopefully itís lost something on the way here.

UPDATED: MAY 7, 2010 Iím gonna go a bit higher than the avg on this one. Itís pretty unique and a good fit for the ambience the label calls for - okay, Iím a sucker. But worth a try, anything from Deshutes is worth a try. re-rate. itís a year later, and i really donít like this beer near as much. Iím going from 3.7 to 3.3.

Bottle... NTB Ernesto Festo í06... Drank this one after dawn on Friday, September 1st. Walked outside in the stiff breeze and checked out everyoneís damage. Some folks lost roofs, windows and doors. Most other houses lost a couple dozen shingles. All told, we lost seven shinglesÖ thatís all. God watches over babies and drunks, I guess. Anyway, back to the beerÖ lightly hazy, apricot-colored ale with a small, fizzy, white head. The nose is of wildflower honey. Perfectly balanced flavor but a bit thin and bland. Light to medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. Lengthy, mildly bitter, dry, and finally, grassy finish. Thanks go out to kenb for the bottle!
