COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A lighter, yet full-flavored, aromatic Ale for the long days of summer. Twilightís solid malt foundation pairs with distinctive Amarillo hops for flavors every bit as intriguing as bigger, heavier ales. A back porch, lingering sunset wonder.

Dark clear copper. Caramel. Thin head. Somewhat bitter for a summer beer. Well balanced.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a mostly clear somewhat golden yellow/orange body, two finger white foamy head that rises and falls and leaves a nice speckled spider web lacing left in the wake of the fall. The smell had some slightly spicey; slightly peppery; slightly malty - moreso as it warms, and just a bit of lemon thrown in there to finish an impressive aroma. The taste was a nice bitter thrill through citrusy tones yet still a semi-spiciness, citrus aftertaste, watery finish. The palate was about a light to medium and sessionable. Carbonation seems to be good for the style and for me. Overall, this was a wow beer for me as this is a very good American Blonde Ale.

Pours to a bright golden body with a starch white head. Ultra-tiny particulate is evenly suspended throughout. The aroma is bright, and nearly fruity. Like some pineapple and papaya. The flavor is malty and sweet, but fully balanced with some nice hops. Like some papaya fruit in there too. Surprisingly that drinking this in nearly February that this beer isnít showing signs of oxidation (but Iíve never had it before, so I donít know what it truly tastes like fresh). Medium light body thatís crisp. Very easy drinking.

Best by: 09DEC11 A: Pours a toasted blonde ale with two fingers of white foam which dissipates over a couple minutes to a quilt of the same. Spotty lacing. Excellent clarity. S: Grainy and woody. Plenty of grassy and alfalfa like hops. Sweet crystal malt underneath with a hint of corn. T: Nice sweet malt profile with just enough hops to keep this one dry and fruity. There is a hint of red delicious apple meats in the background. M: Medium on heavy for the style with lively carbonation. Finish is mouth watering. O: Decent beer, a bit heavy for the style IMO. A little too much sweet malts, a little too much body. Serving type: bottle 08-20-2011

Bottled. Light yellow amber with a thick cream head. The aroma is mild, mostly pick up the Amarillo hop. The taste is sharp and bitter, medium body, with a dry finish. Overall quite hoppy with a nice malt finish, not bad.

On tap @GarricksHeadPub. Peachy hops, wheaty malts. Bright and tasty. Light in colour and body but full-flavoured.

Poured from bottle to pint glass. Maybe sat on As month or two longer than it should. That said, nice hoppy aroma filled with citrus. Taste follows suit a bit with clear hop presence and a bit of citrus. Malt is lacking, as is any real depth. Highly drinkable, however. Good summer beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
