3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle. Pours pale orangish golden with thin lacey head. Aroma is faint citrus and hops. Taste is pale crystal malt with a citrus hop finish. Hop presence is only moderate, but leaves a bitter aftertaste. Crisp and easy drinking. Light and sessionable, and an appropriate summer style, but hard not to be a little disappointed as Deschutes has killed off way better beers than this.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is one of the few Summer beers where I actually feel like I could seek it out in the season. That’s something Fall and Winter beers typically claim. Floral hop, ripe fruit aroma. More ripe fruits on the tongue, plum and cherry....subtle tobacco in the finish.

Pours a mild copper with an off white head. Aroma is slightly metallic with a tinge of hops. Taste is mild at first with a bit of a skunky bite on the back end. Not a terrible beer but I’ve had better.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light fruit aroma with the banana bread type quality I’m so used to with Deschutes. Flavor follows suit with a nice toasty finish. Bitter, but smooth at the same time. High standard light pale ale.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours light orange from the bottle, average head. Aroma is light pine, bread. Taste follows through with moderate hops, some malty bread sweetness, and a great chewy mouthfeel. Not a pale ale, really--I think of this as reminiscent of a steam beer, or an unusually hoppy kolsch. Great balance and drinkability. I think better than the average rating here suggests.
