3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
I was pleasantly surprised to see this one stacked up in a private Vancouver store, but didn’t want to waste my budget on another blond. Then even more pleasantly surprised to find this on tap at St. Augustine’s. It was plasantly surprisingly hoppy, this is a pale ale, with orange citus taste. Faint hops. Nicely drinkable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled. A golden orange coloured beer with a little whitish head. The aroma is quite pleasant but subtle citrus hoppy. Oranges and sweet grapefruit in the mouth. Fairly bitter but the hops are again nicely subtle. Nice.

12 ounce bottle from And Beer, Athens, 7/15/14. Pours a clear copper color with a large foamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of floral hops and doughy malts. Maybe a hint of spice. The taste is floral and citrus hops, apple, mildly toasted malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, good balance, nice refreshing beer.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pale golden pour with a thin white head. The nose is a little bit spicy and hoppy. Some citrus and a bit of light spice along with a touch of soft fruitiness. A little bit of clean pale malt and a bit of light crackery malt. A touch of flinty/yeasty bitterness and some nice balance. Great stuff. Fresh and tasty.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thanks to Homerwantsbeer for sharing a bottle. This beer is a lightly clouded yellow-gold color with a medium thin and bubbly white head that dissipates steadily. Top ring of lacing with rings underneath. The aroma is hoppy with notes of caramel and citrus. Medium, clean body with flavors of caramel malt, peach and light hops. The finish is lightly hoppy with a touch of lemon zing in the aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

One-third pint, gravicask from the USA bar at GBBF 09. Missing head, clear amber body. Inviting smell of apricote. Malt-fruity taste with underlying dry yeast and smooth bitterness to the ending. Easy to drink, refreshing and moreish (London, 05.08.2009).

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Extra light yellow appearance. Starchy pears with some ultra sweet fruit and grain. A little fizzy, watery, not getting anywhere with this one... any hops being used?

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
2010-06-27. Crisp dark yellow body with a modest bitterness, odd flowery character to the hops. 6+ Aroma is similarly floral, muted citrus? 6+ Average to light bodied palate suits it. Okay I guess, but pretty mildly flavoured. On tap at Deschutes, Portland
