COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A lighter, yet full-flavored, aromatic Ale for the long days of summer. Twilight’s solid malt foundation pairs with distinctive Amarillo hops for flavors every bit as intriguing as bigger, heavier ales. A back porch, lingering sunset wonder.

Draft - Grassy hops with some nice balance of sweet malts grains. Pale gold with a thin head. Mild citrus, bittering hops and grains. Nice light but flavourful. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Super buttery, a summer ale should not be a chore to drink. Hops are nice but ruined by the malts.

One-third pint, gravicask from the USA bar at GBBF 09. Missing head, clear amber body. Inviting smell of apricote. Malt-fruity taste with underlying dry yeast and smooth bitterness to the ending. Easy to drink, refreshing and moreish (London, 05.08.2009).

I was pleasantly surprised to see this one stacked up in a private Vancouver store, but didn’t want to waste my budget on another blond. Then even more pleasantly surprised to find this on tap at St. Augustine’s. It was plasantly surprisingly hoppy, this is a pale ale, with orange citus taste. Faint hops. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle... NTB Ernesto Festo ’06... Drank this one after dawn on Friday, September 1st. Walked outside in the stiff breeze and checked out everyone’s damage. Some folks lost roofs, windows and doors. Most other houses lost a couple dozen shingles. All told, we lost seven shingles… that’s all. God watches over babies and drunks, I guess. Anyway, back to the beer… lightly hazy, apricot-colored ale with a small, fizzy, white head. The nose is of wildflower honey. Perfectly balanced flavor but a bit thin and bland. Light to medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. Lengthy, mildly bitter, dry, and finally, grassy finish. Thanks go out to kenb for the bottle!

Clear golden with medium beige head. Sweet fruity aroma with hops and pine. Sweet flavor with hopy and caramel notes. Ends bitter.

Bottle @ home. Mildly cloudy, yellow orange appearance with a white head. Mild earthy, grapefruit hoppy, orange citrusy, a touch tangy aroma. Grapefruit hoppy, sweet creamy pale malty flavor. Refreshing, citrusy ale. Probably would be a great session beer- glad I tried this again after a couple years of missing it.

Draught at the Deschutes Taproom, Portland, OR.
Cloudy orange golden colour with a small off-white head. Sweet fruity and floral hops, mild bitterness and mild sweetness in the aroma. Sweet fruity hops, mild bitterness and some sweet maltiness in the flavour. Easy and fruity.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellowish gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has lots of grass with some sweet grains and a hint of underlying light fruits. Flavor combines grain and grass with a growing sweetness towards the finish.

12oz bottle, from Dutch’s. "Bravely Done," the underside of my cap reads. Best by 08/08/14. Mostly clear orange color. Thin ring of off-white head. Leaves decent ridges of lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp lighter carbonation. Lightly slick finish. Caramel malt, some spicy, some orange citrus. Satisfying moderate bitter taste. Moderate sweet. Solid, balanced pale ale. Reasonably crushable.
