3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nearly clear gold with a 3 finger, chunky eggshell head. Aroma is big on fruity hops, lots of citrus, a little spicy hop, biscuit, light caramel, mineral notes and a touch of pine. Flavor is toast, cereal, biscuit and pale caramel up front, some sweet fruity notes, citrus, passion fruit, and some mineral and lingering sweet orange citrus to the finish. Light to medium body with a slightly sticky entry, leading to a crisp, off dry finish. Good stuff overall, definitely a good lawnmower beer/summer quencher. Though it would be quite a bit better if it were just a bit less sweet.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A: Darkened gold color with a fuzzy white head.
N: Grapefruit, pine, earth, biscuit, some toast, a hint of pineapple. Peppercorn.
T: Decently bitter, a bit spicy, a touch sweet.
M: Medium body, creamy full carbonation, alcohol is hidden.
O: Certainly not a summer session ale, and for that, I am appreciative. i really like this one fresh hopped or on cask at the Portland brewpub, but I’m not reviewing those versions. Get em if you can, enjoy this one in the summer, too.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Translucent golden orange haze. Relatively tedious orange, citrus, grass, hop aroma. Much more impressed with the taste. Creamy and medium bodied. An initially grassy and hoppy flavour immediately evolves into a refreshing combination of orange cream, citrus, and malt, which then finishes again with a wee bit of hop. Flavourful and refreshing, yet simultaneously somewhat complex.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
"not really a blonde, but not really a pale ale.. way too hoppy to be classified as such, even though it’s still a pretty mellow ale. Clean, quite smooth, nothing spectacular."

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Refrigerated brown bottle, best by August 8, 2014, given to me from a guy at work after the best by date, poured into a glass. Hazy light orange with small white head. Aroma is light tropical fruit, medium body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is grapefruit, some herbal hops, with nice malt backbone.

Smooth and refreshing, but pretty light and lacking some bite. Good summer beer as advertised.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Meh, it’s an easy drinking brew, but absolutely nothing special here. The aroma is weak, and the taste is just sort of middle of the road. Some people will like this plain pale ale. Overall, not bad no real flaws. Bored.

Smell is sweet citrus. Flavor is startlingly bitter and watery. Not awful but just OK.

Bottle poured a deep golden hue w/ large creamy white slowly diminishing head and minor sticky lacing. Medium malty aroma. Initial flavor is light sweet w/ a moderate bitter finish. Tastes are caramel, pine, and straw. Medium bodied, light creaminess to the mouthfeel and lively carbonation.
