Deschutes Twin Pillars Strong | |||||||||||||
RATINGS: 3 MEAN: 3.83/5.0 WEIGHTED AVG: 3.11 SEASONAL: Special EST. CALORIES: 288 ABV: 9.6%
COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Light in color yet not in vigor - this beer is a Central Oregon springtime warmer. This beer was brewed using 100 pounds of unrefined Mexican brown sugar-piloncillo. The light malt bill of Castle pale, and ESB allows the sweet pillars to stand their ground. We used Centennials to provide the bitter backup and more Crystal hops on the back end then our kettle has ever seen. Aromas of tart fruit from our home grown Belgian yeast add another layer. IBU’s: 42. ABV 9.6%.
