COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Light in color yet not in vigor - this beer is a Central Oregon springtime warmer. This beer was brewed using 100 pounds of unrefined Mexican brown sugar-piloncillo. The light malt bill of Castle pale, and ESB allows the sweet pillars to stand their ground. We used Centennials to provide the bitter backup and more Crystal hops on the back end then our kettle has ever seen. Aromas of tart fruit from our home grown Belgian yeast add another layer. IBU’s: 42. ABV 9.6%.

Fruit sweetness with moderate tart components. Basement character that was a bit oxidized. There was almost a cola nut quality to this as well. Didnt find it all that interesting.

On tap at tebBrewPub very slight haze and a persists t thin white bead. Clinging sheets of lacinng. Very mile belgia aroma. Nice light Belgian flavors. This is a Belgian ale for people who think they wouldntlime Belgians. Soft carbonation and a very mild smooth finish.

This garnet colored draft pour came in a snifter at the Bend brewpub and had a big floral and ripe fruit nose that rose up from the small off-white head and left good lacing rings as I swirled this delicious smelling brew. Smooth and slick mouthfeel. Flavor is ripe fruit with a great slightly sour finish. A simply delightful Belgian Ale.
