On tap at Desert Eagle, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out considerable piney hops, some grass, and bready malt. Flavour is along the ale lines, with lots of piney hops, some resins, and lightly sweet caramely biscuity malt. Well-balanced, robust and reasonably complex. Very good.

Delicious full bodied ipa. Lots of hoppy flavor and nice bet color. Wish it was closer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draft at the brewery. Light copper transparent body with a thick off-white head that leaves ample lacing in its wake. Weak aroma. The flavor is clean but lacking assertiveness. Too tame. Malty finish with a touch of bitterness. Ok.

From notes. Tasted on 12/23/12 on tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark orange with a thick white head that leaves very thick, sticky lace. The nose is caramel malt, a touch of bubblegum, and a hop aroma that ranges from tropical fruit to grapefruit peel. The flavor has a touch of that same interesting bubblegum sweetness with more bitter resinous grapefruit peel hops on the back of the palate. The body is medium with average carbonation and a long, very bitter grapefruit hops finish.

Interesting armor and a lighter color - not as cloudy. Taste is interesting - more on the fruity side. Little rough on the finish ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This 7.3% ABV brew poured up on tap at the brewpub exhibits a clear copper body supporting a white head of foam. The aroma offers up a modest degree of sweet malts and then some pine hops that slide into a faint citrus hop note. The taste begins with smooth malt sweetness riding quickly into a mix of pine and light citrus hop bitterness. That being said it does not let go of the sweet maltiness. In the middle of those notes are faint sweet yeasty fruity esters. This is a nice IPA that gets a little muddled in malt sweetness and esters.

Tap at the brewery. Rating #2. Decent IPA, nice amount of bitterness with a pretty mild finish. (2769)

On draft at hungry monk, hazy orange pour with white head. Aroma of floral and grassy hops. A nice hoppy bite with a dry finish. Pretty damn good.
