2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap @ Desert Edge. Hazed golden orange pour with a white head. Mostly just bread and a touch of grain. Sort of lemony, as well. Mild orange rind, slight dough, and some biscuit. A mild tang to the finish, which is kind of meh. Served with a lemon as well, so cred hit.

Just another simple hefeweizen. Pours a nice golden cloudy color looks good, but doesn’t stand out.

Draft at the Bayou. Pours yellow and slightly cloudy with a thin white head. Doesn’t leave much lacing, Not much on the nose. A bit of banana but doesn’t make much of an impact. Finishes fairly clean. Eh.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Had on draft at the brewery. Pours cloudy with white head. A big nose of sulfur and green apple maybe it is from the fruity wheat. There is doughy, tart, dry, wheaty. This is a bland beer, but I am not a fan of American wheat beers.

Pale straw, cloudy, white head. Aroma of grainy and spicy wheat malt, yeast. Flavor of spicy wheat, slightly tart yeasty character, fairly dry finish.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Had this at the Trolley Square location. Received in a perfect pint look-alike.
2.5 A: Moderately hazed golden wheat color. One finger of frothy white head. Retention is poor for the style and no lacing is left.
2.5 S: Not a lot going on here. Wheat and some neutral maltiness, but no typical hefe aromas.
2.0 T: Like the nose, the taste is nearly flavorless and little evidence of this being a hefe.
3.5 M: At least it feels like a hefe. Ligher medium body. Good hefe carbonation. Could be creamier, but alright.
1.5 D: Not a great beer by any standards.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured up on tap at the Desert Edge with a nice murky opaque deep pale gold body and white head. The mild aroma is banana and grainy malts and little else. The taste is a mix of sweet banana, fresh grainy malts, a wort like sensation and then a thin ring of sweet apricot flavored bubble gum. It has a nice residual sort of fruity citrus finish to it. Nice Hefe.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft @ Brewpub: Hazy blonde, light head and lacing. Nose of wheat and husk with a grainy and thin overall impression. A chewy body though with some big "wheat" flavors yet a thin finish.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy golden, minimal head. Neutral nose. Dryish and fruity with farly clean, spritzy mouthfeel. Fairly light bodied with straighfoward flavour, lacking all esters or phenols expected in a hefeweizen. An OK wheat ale.
