straw yellow with a white head.
the nose is quite fruity... mostly peaches, oranges and very ripe apricots along with florals, wheat, grain sweetness and some spiciness.
the flavor is the previous mixed with dustiness, tons of flowers and orange with a spicy prickly hop filled finish.
medium to full bodied, slick yet prickly and easy drinking. surprisingly good.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ibrew2or3 (4914) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JUL 4, 2008
On tap @ the Desert Edge Brewpub. Pours clear gold with bright white head. It has a light aroma with a pulse of grainy malts followed by sweet lager like malt sweetness. The taste is much the same with a bit of citrus then malty grains then a hint of banana. It ends dry and malty. Nice session brew.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 douglas88 (3684) - Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - JUN 29, 2008
On tap at the brewpub. Listed as Summertime Kristalweizen. Pours a clear golden body with a medium white head. The aroma was very light; some grain perhaps. The taste was your basic Lager; with some light citrus and malt, but with a very nice dry finish that distinguished this beer.

A great beer if you want a lighter version of a weizen, we (some friends) tried this a month or so ago and were immediately impressed. I’m not the biggest Hefiweizen conesuer but I enjoyed every bit of this lighter verson, crisp finish, full flavored. It delivers.

Great Utah Beer Run – Summer 2007
On Tap – There summer beer I was hoping this would hit the mark for the last beer of the day. Light in aroma, with very little malt or spices coming through. Golden pale in color with a thin head. Light malty beer with little spices and flavors. This was a weak version of something to be a weizen beer. Really was hard to finish. PBR’s little cousin.
