Appearance: Dark brown with a big beige head and good lacing
Aroma: Toasted malts and nutty
Taste: Toasted malts, nutty and coffee
Easy drinking. At first sip I thought it was similar it tastes like a dark iced tea, nice.

On draft at the pub. This is a great brown ale. Very drinkable. Nice roast, chocolate, hint of coffee, fruity, and malty. Really nice beer.

On draft at Trolley Square brewery - Pours a fairly clear chestnut brown color with smallish light tan head. Aroma is slightly roasty, with notes of dark chocolate, toasted hazelnut, vanilla bean, and oak. Really a nice aroma. Flavor is malty, with a touch of roastyness, wet oak. Finish is just on the sweet side of balanced. This is a fairly nice beer overall. Not amazing, but a flavorful session ale that I could easily have a few pints of and not tire. Possibly the best Desert Edge brew Ive had.

On a pull tap in the brewery in SLC. Listed as Cask Nut Brown, they said there was no added carbonation, and that is was casked. A really nice rasberry aroma, the body was ultra-thin, but the head was great. The taste was kinda a let down, smooth, nutty and some hops, fruit. Overall, better than expected.

NABA Brew Fest 03: Very subtle with a light malt body with an underbalanced absence of hops. There was a very poor palate, mouth feel to this one, makes me want to drink something else.
