Tap at DE. Nose is light grains, and this weird candy note. Pours a clear golden/straw color, white head with average retention, little lacing. Flavor: grainy, some spicy hops, and again with the candy sweetness. Light body, medium carbonation.

Poured up on tap at the Desert Edge with clear gold body and white head. The mild aroma seems to deliver sweet malts and a cotton candy sensation. It has nice sweet flavor followed up by some firm spicy hops and then a bit of floral hops and a thin yet pleasing note of citrus. It leaves a neutral after taste behind with an even mix of both pilsner like malts and lingering hoppiness.

pils aroma mixed with lemon, dust and straw.
the flavor shares the same characteristics along with honey and a tart finish. the grain adds a richness/slickness to the medium body but it is very dry throughout.6/3.5/6/3.5/13/3.2

Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden, small head. Neutral nose. Fairly sweet with clean, hard mouthfeel. Light grassy hops pave the way to a mild salty bitterness. Simple, but functional.

Pours a dark golden yellow color with a fizzy white head. Aromas of grains, grass, floral hops. Flavors of cheerios, with a nice hop finish.

Aroma: Malts, citrus, skunky aroma similar to Heineken
Taste: First thing I get is that skunky flavor that you get from Heineken
This beer reminds me of opening up a green bottle of beer. That skunky aroma and flavor is all I get.

UPDATED: FEB 26, 2008 On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy orange with a huge white head. Our pitcher was lined with about 6 lemons, everyone seemed to like them, but my opinion on putting things in beer is clear; leave the stuff out. A good Hefe with a basic citrus and hop character and some malts. Good, easy to drink a ton.

On Tap – A clear golden color brew with a clean malty flavor that finished crisp. Easy Drinking Brew.

on tap-pours a thin white head and yellow color. Aroma is faint crispness. Taste is light malt, light spicy (saaz) hops. Spicy on the front of the tongue. OK effervescence.

(08/2006. Draft). This was a wonderful surprise. UT has the perfect ABV requirements for forcing brewers to make a good pils, and this was no exception. Wonderful aroma with hints of sulphur and noble hops ... just a hint of spiciness and a deep malty character there in the back inviting one to dive in. Beautiful, clear gold with a big, white head that lingers nicely and leaves beautiful lace -- definitely a nice beer to contemplate. Deep, malty flavor accented perfectly by noble hops with that hit o’ sulphur carrying through wonderfully. Medium-full on the palate -- surprisingly well-rounded, actually. Overall, a really, really nice brew and very, very refreshing.
