Nice spicy/bready Rye aroma and flavor. Pretty sweet; but I guess it balances the rye flavors well.

Tap at the pub. Spicy nose, some citrus, definite rye character. Pours slightly hazy, light golden, thin head with little retention. Flavor is rye, mellow hops, some candy sweetness. Slightly sweet and lingering finish. Medium body, lightly carbonated.

Love me some rye. Poured up on tap at the Desert Edge with hazy deep gold body and white head. The aroma has some spiciness and fresh malts as well as a touch of spicy tartness. The taste is full of flavor and tosses up a good deal of spicy rye followed closely by grain malts, spicy hops, fresh maltiness and some floral hops floating around in the background and into the after taste. Great refreshing summer brew where the crisp spiciness and freshness are what make this beer yummy.

Draft @ Brewpub: Copper, light head and lacing. Nose of grain and light rye. Subtle earth and spicy lightness. No hops. Grainly, light body. Meh, not much of a fan of rye beers, especially where it’s a one instrument band.

Pours a mellow orange amber color. Aromas of wheat, grapes, some spice. In the flavor there are hints of orange, grapefruit, with a slight bitter finish.

On tap at Desert Edge
Appearance: Clear golden with a white head and some lacing in the glass
Aroma: Coriander, bitter hops
Taste: Mild hops, bitter finish
This would be a very good summer beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy orange with a thick white head. The aroma is really light; some citrus and malts. The taste is also quite easy going; some lemongrass, a small grapefruit aspect, some malts and a bit of grains/rye. Pretty nice.

Copper-orange with big-bubbled head. Virtually no aroma. There's little distinctive flavor. Lightly hopped. This seems more like an average American Amber to me, without distinctive rye character.
