Nez de Tequila, piment, malt et citrique. Le goût est doux, frais puis épicé, Tequila et poivre rose. Amertume de zeste d’orange. Etonnant contraste entre la fraîcheur et le piment chauffant.

Ett öl som enligt etiketten ska vara tillfixad med lite tequila. Det presenteras som ett försäljningsargument - ett mervärde - men är i själva verket en defekt. Desperados Fuego är ett olycksfall i arbetet, inte ett öl. Fast jag sympatiserar ändå med grovarbetaren som tappade sin fickplunta i ölkaret: knegar man på en fabrik med så gott som obegränsad tillgång till det här ölet är medhavd dryck det enda rätta. Smakar som en blandning mellan root beer, diskmedel och en e-ämnen.

50 cl can from franprix. Smells like mt dew. that is a good thing. copper. white foam. tastes like mt dew code red. Palate like it too. I guess that’s not a beer, but where else are you going to get mt dew in France? Not sure where the fuego is, but maybe this is appropriately spicy for French people.

Why did they make this? As if the regular Desperados wasn’t awful enough. Medium orange with a frothy, lacy, disappearing white head. Smells faintly of malt with a clear citrus-lemon and alcohol. Lemon extract most likely. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. Tastes of biscuit, grain, pepper and lemon with cheap tequila that makes it harsh to drink. It feels so artificial.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Maybe one of the best if it comes to artificial flavours. But, not to sweet, not enough spicy but a nice lemonade in the end.

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Expected some chili-experience but got a Desperdos with a little bit more carbonation and deepness. Golden colour, low head, thin body. Taste of fresh grains, green apples, pepper and soy sauce. Very sweet.

330 ml bottle. Pours clear golden with no head. Citrus aroma. Pretty much smells like Radler. A bit spicy, though. Strong citrus taste, thus sour, obviously. Also spicy and a bit bitter. A bit of a sparkly sour citrus finish.
