COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Belgian-style abbey ale crafted like those that Trappist monks brew for their own session beer. It is light bodied, light in color and relatively lower in alcohol with spicy phenolics and complex fruity esters of cherries, nectarines, peaches and bubblegum with a characteristic slightly tart and dry finish from the Belgian yeast.

Outstanding abbey ale! Only 4.9% ABV...yet all the Belgium aroma and flavor. Huge, lasting, head.

Can. Pours a very slightly hazy dark golden color with a somewhat large off-white head on there. Nose is quite yeasty, with a little bit of fruit coming through as well as some clove. Taste is fairly dry and only slightly tart, yet feels very light on the palate. Almost crisp.

Strong yeasty/floral/citrus aroma. Pours a cloudy light yellow with a very full head. Floral and citrus characteristics carry over to the taste followed immediately by strong, lively carbonation. Not an outstanding beer, but certainly not the worst.

4pack of 12oz cans from Kroger in Grandview for $6.99. Gold pour with a finger or so white head. Aroma of spice, yeast, fruit - juicy and grain. Tastes are also yeasty with pepper, mineral, bubblegum, citrus zest. Light bitter in the lightly dry finish. Solid.

Clear copperish golden with a thin rocky head. Earthy and slightly fruity nose with a bit of pear and woody tones. Lightish flavor with pear and bright estery malt and a little grape. Meh.

Cloudy yellow amber pour big white head. Aroma raisins, wheat. Tastes banana, cloves, peppery slight raw breadiness. Nice dry finish, but needs some more character, some more darkness.
