COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Belgian-style abbey ale crafted like those that Trappist monks brew for their own session beer. It is light bodied, light in color and relatively lower in alcohol with spicy phenolics and complex fruity esters of cherries, nectarines, peaches and bubblegum with a characteristic slightly tart and dry finish from the Belgian yeast.

Can. Bubblegum aroma with spicy Belgian yeast as well as stone fruit and cherries. Pours opaque golden colored with a thin, but retentive white head with decent lacing. Starts with bubblegum flavors with nice stone fruit sweetness. Finishes smooth and slightly tart with cherry and some spicy Belgian yeast flavors. Highly drinkable and session able beer with nice depth, especially for the ABV.

Sample at the "Drink Moar Beer!" tasting on 06/12/2015: Clear bronze color with a medium thin white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, caramel malt and yeast. Light-bodied with flavors of sweet malt, floral yeast and mild hops. The finish is fruity with an herbal yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

Pale hazy gold. Nose of tart citrus and Belgian spice. Flavor is light tangy citrus with Belgian yeast. Light finish. Lightly sweet.

Mildy cloudy golden with a small white head. Light citrus notes, hay. Light bitterness and a small amount of spicy, tang. Strong biscuity malt finish. Not particularly well balanced. Fair amount of effervescent carbonation. Light body. Fine.

Can. Apricot hue with a thin film of cream-colored froth. Aroma had a little banana, pear and fresh coconut. Flavor is similar, with a little more potpourri-like floral notes added to dried nanners and soft pear before a mostly dry finish. A little peppery astringency. A light, refreshing table beer.

12 oz. can pours a hazy golden color with huge white head that sticks around and leaves good lacing. Nose is full of Belgian yeast, but aroma also has some banana, orange, lemon and cloves, Taste is slightly bitter with a slightly sour aftertaste. Body is light to medium with average carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. Very easily drinkable and well balanced, although it didn’t make me say WOW. This is a solid sessionable American take on a Belgian ale, which I’ll try again.

The aroma is of bread malt and yeast. Large amount of head on this. The taste is somewhat sour. The aftertaste has some mild hops. Good, refreshing beer.

Outstanding abbey ale! Only 4.9% ABV...yet all the Belgium aroma and flavor. Huge, lasting, head.

Can. Pours a very slightly hazy dark golden color with a somewhat large off-white head on there. Nose is quite yeasty, with a little bit of fruit coming through as well as some clove. Taste is fairly dry and only slightly tart, yet feels very light on the palate. Almost crisp.

Strong yeasty/floral/citrus aroma. Pours a cloudy light yellow with a very full head. Floral and citrus characteristics carry over to the taste followed immediately by strong, lively carbonation. Not an outstanding beer, but certainly not the worst.
