COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Belgian-style abbey ale crafted like those that Trappist monks brew for their own session beer. It is light bodied, light in color and relatively lower in alcohol with spicy phenolics and complex fruity esters of cherries, nectarines, peaches and bubblegum with a characteristic slightly tart and dry finish from the Belgian yeast.

Draft. A nice well-balanced beer with sweet malt tones, bread, spices, some fruit, and even a dry finish.

Rated on 6-14-2014 (Bottle) The appearance is a medium sized off-white head with a lengthy retention, yellow body, fizzy, fast rising carbonation, and excellent lacing. The aroma is yeast and fruity. The flavor is sweet, yeasty and fruity. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. This beer is very quaffable, good flavor, worth trying and a beer I would drink again.

Great tasting Belgian with a bit of a Saison flourish to it. A very great job by Destihl!

Poured from a can with a huge white head. Classic golden color. A bit of cloves and spice in the aroma but it’s dampened by the huge head. Starts with classic Belgian flavors with hints of lemon, bubblegum, and bit of banana sweetnes before a mildly bitter finish kicks in. Pretty good but not great Belgian-style.

Can pours hazy gold with sudsy white head. Peach, nectarine, pear, cherry, earth, pepper. Moderate bitterness, low sweetness. Lightly crisp, light body.

12 oz can pour. Love the cans comeback. Pours a cloudy yellow with a sweet fruit aroma with some belgian yeast. Mostly fruity beer with some lemon and orange. Just barely has a sour side to it. Pretty good beer.

Medium golden color with two fingers of bubbly white head. Smells of clove, coriander, horse blanket, juicy fruit bubble gum, corn, a little black pepper, banana, pear. Spicy bite in the taste with some plastic like hop bitter, a small amount of sweetness, wheat, banana, caramel malt way in the back. The hop taste is off putting in this context, not sure what it is. The other flavors are fine, though not any one flavor sticks out. Very carbonated, slick mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draught at BeerMongers. Light golden color. Aroma is light yeast and sweet citrus. Taste is similar, with a pleasant yeast and sweet fruit finish.
